Experiments in Ambiance I was initiated at the Bean and Leaf in downtown New London, CT this past Saturday June 14th, 2008 8-11pm. We had tons of fun! and we can’t thank the BnL owners Chris, Melissa, Hugh, and Caitlin enough for use of the facility for the session.

We played a number or AVscapes at the BnL that night.

EIA is an on-going experiment in ambient sound and video performed by local artists in New London area. We have a group of musicians, artists, and videographers get together to mix and improvise sounds and video. The goal is to create sounds “on the fly”, a kind of Jack Kerouac “On The Road” session.

We had a number of musicians and instruments at EIA-I. A lo-resolution recording was made of the event and uploaded. (click here for recording)
