eCello

The eCello project started 1 year before my wife and I had our first child. It was a miracle of a year, and I hope for many more of those types of years.
The project produced P1, for "Prototype-1". This is a simple electronic cello that uses a piezo-based transducer to turn "vibrations" into an analog signal. The signal is then amplified using a simple JFET-based amplifier. The next phase of the project, P2, will introduce a DSP on board the cello that will be used to model various types of resonating bodies.
